Our history

Amanda Mellor has a wealth of experience working for private clients, she has diverse experience in dealing with business sectors from farming, to property developers, and manufacturing.  Amanda believes that highly sucessful individuals often are so busy running their businesses that they forget to look after their own interests. 

 

1990

Amanda Mellor (was Amanda Ward) joined Grant Thornton in Nottingham and worked as a tax trainee in their personal tax department.  Amanda attained the CTA qualification in 1994 and had worked as an assistant with all of Grant Thornton's clients, from the simplest to the most complicated. 

 

1997

Amanda moved to Coopers & Lybrand which shortly thereafter became PwC.  Amanda established relationships with clients that are still strong today. Whilst at PwC, Amanda worked on the Wealth Products and Services team in London, to ensure that new and innovative planning techniques for the private clients team were disseminated throughout the business. 

 

2003

Amanda became a manager at Cooper Parry LLP, working from Nottingham and Leicester. 

 

2008

Amanda became a partner of Mellor Oxland LLP, and after 18 sucessful months, decided to resign and work on her own.

 

2010

6 April 2010 sees the launch of Amanda Mellor CTA.
